Leak rate detection of bottled gas is affected by factors such as,
sampling distance and system pressure. Adjust the factors to fine tune the leak rate and
leak level.
Note
Cost of bottled gas = gas price * leak rate
-
In the Acoustic Analysis pane, set Gas Leak Mode as Bottled
Gas.
-
Adjust gas leak detection parameters to increase the detection accuracy.

|
Sampling Distance
|
Sound intensity decreases with distance
increases when traveling in a media. |
|
Pressure
|
The pressure of inspected container or tube.

Note
-
Distance unit, pressure unit and leak rate unit and
can be changed at .
-
For the images captured by acoustic imaging cameras
of early firmware version (versions before V5.5.79), Sampling Distance or Pressure are not allowed to change.
Upgrade your camera to the latest version for new features on
image capture and analysis.
Check the number change in Leak
Rate in Acoustic Analysis Result
window. To open the window, see Window Layout Adjustment for details.
-
Adjust leak level. Larger numbers indicate more severe leaking.
The Leak Level displayed in
Acoustic Analysis Result is a transformed number
according to the level settings in the Acoustic
Analysis pane.
Check the leak level change in Acoustic Analysis
Result window.
-
Adjust time period for cost calculation via .
-
Adjust Price of Gas to get leakage cost.
-
Set a unit for Price of Gas. It depends on
Currency and Leak Rate
Unit. Go to to adjust it.
When you set Currency as
EUR-Euro and Leak
Rate Unit as L/min, the unit
of Price of Gas is EUR/L.
-
Adjust the value of Price of Gas.
Check the amount at Leak Cost in
the Acoustic Analysis Result window.
Cost calculation and leak level parameters can be set for all acoustic images. See
Apply Cost Calculation and Leak Level Settings to All for details.
